[ bertolt tries to make it a point to look around and see what's around now, with how things can change. there's a lot that's different about this new place, namely being underwater, but there's got to be something else.

that's when he comes across the cave. he looks at it from a distance. ]

[ Akira is also exploring, though he's considerably less cautious than Bertolt. He looked like he was about go into the cave even, but he stops when he recognizes who it is. ]

You think there's treasure inside? [ That might be a joke. ]

[perspire]

Would there be treasure inside? [ jokingly considers it ]

[bloodread]

It'd probably be cursed.

[perspire]

Something dangerous to go after then.

[ He considers it but... ]

Maybe at night. [ This is what being in a horror game does to you. ]

You checked out the rest of this place yet?

[perspire]

Are you thinking about it?

But a little bit. Mainly went into the bookstore I found.

Why not? It's not like I haven't been cursed before.

[ He'd keep that quiet normally but his profile. ]

I guess I'll look there later, but the only books I've ever liked are martial arts ones.

[perspire]

--If you want to go in later, and want some company...? [ he puts that out there, but he's not sure if akira would actually do it ]

I found some story books. There's some fighting in there, but not about martial arts.

You know what, sure. [ Someone will beat them to it probably since mini cyoa, but! ]

Unless it's practical, I'll pass. I've seen enough crap that I don't need to read about it too.

[ he nods at that ]

That's understandable. I'm sort of the same way, but it's just something to pass the time here.

I wish they would just be straight with us on what the rules of this game are.

[perspire]

That'll be easy.

[bloodread]

I don't care if it's easy or not. Waiting around is just freakin' annoying. [ Even if that's not what they're doing, but it sure feels like it. ]

[perspire]

Waiting around-- Why do you think we're waiting?

Cause we can't actually do anything with the info we have.

[perspire]

We really can't... Have you tried talking to the Watchers?

[bloodread]

Yeah, they're mostly useless. Why, did they say something to you?

[perspire]

No. We haven't talked much. I was hoping to talk to them more this week.

[bloodread]

They like to ask personal questions a lot, it's weird. Maybe there's a point to it, but I've never liked small talk.

[perspire]

Oh, is that so...?

[ SIGHS ] I don't like talking about myself a lot.

[bloodread]

[ Nod. ]

I don't see the point in getting close to people, especially in a place like this. [ lol. ]

[perspire]

[ look at where that got you akira ]

Especially people who are supposed to look after us but aren't really doing all that much.

[bloodread]

Watching us and looking after us are two different things. But I wouldn't be surprised if they said both.

[ He just doesn't trust them because it's a limited commodity where he's from. ]

--I guess we'll have to just wait and find out which it is exactly.
