I have plenty to spare leftover. I haven't exactly done any shopping in the previous realms.

I traded when I could, but I just charged to the room at the last place. Like hell I was paying for Suigetu's lobster.

[ That makes him laugh, putting in his order for just a black coffee. The server goes off to get their order in the meantime. ]

Well, it isn't as if we'll be heading back to those other realms as far as I'm aware. [ Rip all that destruction. ] Speaking of... what are you planning on doing once you head back home?

Yeah, they can bill the angels or whatever. [ He's not going to lose sleep about it. ]

...be normal, go to school. If I remember how to do that.

It's gonna take some readjusting.

[ A light hum. ] Maybe I should come to pay your world a visit and see how you're doing.

You can do that?

It's not impossible in my world, there's always a method that exists that allows visiting other timelines and such.

[ So yes. Oh, their coffee has arrived along with Akira's ham and cheese croissant. bon appetite! ] It's how Joonghyuk-ah and I are planning on helping the Watchers back in their own worlds too.

[ Takes a bite of the croissant first. ]

That sounds like a lot of work. You're friendly with all of them, huh?

I'm used to keeping busy so it's not that much work.

[ Raises his cup to sip at his coffee. ] I haven't spent much time with Rameel, nor interacted Yomiel much, but for the most part most of them. They've been a lot of help these past few weeks.

[bloodread]

I only really talk to Shamsiel and Rameel. [ Takes another bite and thinks while munching. ]

I don't really get people who just wanna help like that.

[afterword]

Ah, Shamsiel. [ Dokja looks a little fond. It's that fatherly look. That's one of his kids!! ]

In a way, you can see it as part of their job, but also they only want to help us out of this dispute. Made it hard to trust them in the first week but they have only good intentions once you know their story.

[ Looks down at his coffee. ] I know far too many Constellations that would have fun and made our lives harder had they been Watchers instead.

Yeah, I know a lot of people like that.

[ He just...doesn't trust easy and the whole being in a position of authority is a thing too. ]

I've never really asked them, but I've never asked anyone about their backgrounds really. If people wanna tell me, I'll listen.

[ That's fine, Yoo Joonghyuk after all is a perfect example of being very difficult when it comes to trusting people. Which is why it was a surprise when Dokja saw how attached his companion had become to some of the Watchers. ]

Sometimes, listening is all people could want and ask for. Just like how stories thrive on readers... people are content enough with just someone to listen to them. [ He grows a little quiet, smiling a little. ] Maybe I'll tell you more of my story someday, the parts that you haven't seen already.

[ That memory share.. it certainly showed his hardships growing up but his journey as of recent back home hasn't been too bad. ]
