I'm pretty sure I saw spectres too, at the Southern Isles. I scoped it out with Nanaly, there were the same wispy inky things at the bottom of the Isles. I didn't feel anything, but that's not new.
I had thought so. When I was meditating there, it was... Strange. Then someone visited me and was looking around the isles like we were going to be ambushed at any moment.
[ spectres EVERYWHERE. ]
I was able to fish out a trunk from the bottom of the lake. There was a book inside that had the title “The Removal of Shadows” by The Magi. All of the pages inside of it was ripped out, though I do not think we would have been able to read it if the pages weren't.
Too bad it didn't have any blood on it, or if it did, it'd be washed off by now.
[ Instead he gets to save his readings for murder, yay. ]
This isn't related, but I wanted to bring it up before trial. I spoke with Ulrika in private at the ball, and she couldn't confirm whether Monika was the right person or not.
[ Glances over to Joonghyuk, giving a considering look. ]
The Magi? ...There was that book I found in the library that kept mentioning "Magisterium", about the experiments of some Church doing on their idea of sinners. "These experiments would have been done as a means to rid themselves of being oppressed."
[ Maybe a connection? Or not. ]
Hmm, I didn't think it'd be that easy. We really only have the evidence we gathered at the time and what Ulrika was able to share with her note, assuming the killer stays back from murdering again.
I wasn't gonna go down the whole list cause I figured she'd be dust before that happened, but I had to try at least once. And I didn't even ask her yes or no, told her to eat a certain cookie instead but didn't work either.

I talked to a Watcher and they encouraged us to send letters to the dead. That they know something. [ So it's at least something. ]
